Southern York County Food Pantry

Serving the communities of Stewartstown, New Freedom, Shrewsbury, Railroad, Seven Valleys, Glen Rock, Glenville, Jacobus, Loganville, Jefferson, Spring Grove, and Felton(those living in South Eastern school district only).  All new clients must show identification with current address.

Donations of food and household items may be dropped off at the Pantry located on the grounds of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Outreach Center,  315 N. Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, PA 17349, Monday-Saturday morning, 9-10 a.m.     OR 

Donations of non-perishable food products may be dropped off at the Pantry in the clothing bank garage which is open daily. The garage may be accessed by pushing the garage door button. Place donations on the shelves inside the garage and close the door. A Pantry volunteer will move the donations into the Pantry the next day. Thanks.

PLEASE, NEVER LEAVE FRESH OR FROZEN FOOD IN THE GARAGE.  It will go in the trash.  Call the Pantry and make arrangements for this type of donation.

Canned vegetables – potatoes, carrots, asparagus, lima beans, sauerkraut, red beets, (plus all other vegetables); beans (baked, kidney, plus all other beans); canned soup, broth, ramen noodle, tuna, spam, fruit, instant potatoes, tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, Chef Boyardee meals; rice, peanut butter, jelly, pudding, jello, crackers, hamburger helper meals, mac & cheese, pasta, oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup, cereal, ketchup, mayo, mustard, beverages – juices, coffee, bottled water, kids drinks; baking items – cake, brownie and cookie mixes, icing, flour, sugar, pie filling and crust.
WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED: Personal care products and household;  deodorant, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, feminine products, adult depends, laundry & dish washing detergent, toothpaste, toothbrushes, other household cleaning products, diapers, wipes and baby food.
